About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Reserve Command, 377th Theater Sustainment Command, 143d Mission Support Element, 143d Expeditionary Sustainment Command located at Orlando, Florida.
Duties
Assign work to subordinates based on the capabilities of employee.
Identify training needs of employees to ensure compliance with the current policy.
Provide guidance to employees on both work and administrative matters.
Advise the commander and staff on logistic status and support needed.
Analyze reports for logistical requirements to support operations of the command.
Provide guidance for formulating budget estimates.
Conduct periodic and special staff visits throughout the command.
Develop new policies for increasing efficiency and economy of logistics systems.
Formulate program guidance in coordination with the Department of Army regulations.
Coordinate activities concerned with receipt, storage, and issue of supplies.
Ensure policies concerning property accountability, facilities, food service, transportation and movement of material are followed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the planning, coordinating, or evaluating of logistical actions or programs required to support the unit's needs; the capability of integrating individual logistical program management in areas of supply, maintenance, transportation, and/or food service; and developing the command's logistics budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
