You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA) in the PERSONNEL SUPPORT DETACHMENT DEPARTMENT OF NAVY REGION HAWAII.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance(COLA) will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
Duties
You will compose administrative directives, reports, and records contributing to the efficiency of the division operations.
You will establish and maintain a database for administrative and clerical purposes.
You will interact with upper management to brief telecommunications issues, and new technology, or changes in operations or protocols.
You will create itinerary and travel arrangements in accordance with travel requirements.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using office automation software to provide administrative support; 2) Preparing documents in accordance with organizational policies and procedures; 3) Insuring that administrative actions are promptly and appropriately completed; 4) Collecting information through personal contact, surveys, study of reports, manuals and directives.

This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
