You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF FOR INTELLIGENCE (N2), FORCE SECURITY MANAGER (N2S) of COMNAVRESFOR.
Duties
You will serve as the senior level security advisor to COMNAVRESFOR; COMNAVRESFORCOM and COMNAVAIRRES Chief of Staff on matters pertaining to Personnel Vetting and Program Property programs.
You will develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the organization's Personnel Vetting, Program Property, and Industrial programs.
You will direct COMNAVRESFOR personnel vetting program and provides authoritative information and assistance to senior leadership on personnel vetting and security policies and related issues.
You will maintain continuing responsibility for the development instruction, installation and facility modification, and management of effective program Protection security.
You will plan, develop and implement industrial security policies and procedures to ensure classified material is released only to cleared contractors and that classified contracts are not awarded to un-cleared contractors.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience planning, developing, managing, and directing the complete range of and/or all aspects of an organization's Personnel Vetting, Program Protection, and Industrial, Programs.
Experience establishing criteria, methods, and procedures to conduct security inspections.
Experience conducting comprehensive reviews and analyses of agency's security plans for compliance with established policies and procedures.
Experience developing new and/or revised policy standards or procedures to meet changing conditions or correct deficiencies in programs or functions.
