You will serve as a LEAD FACILITY SPECIALIST in the Facilities, Maintenance & Logistics Section of AC/S G4 MARCORSYSCOM.
Duties
You will ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, and work plans.
You will resolve complicated issues concerning an unlimited scope of the construction, reconstruction, and/or renovation of multiple minor and/or major construction projects.
You will analyze project problems and reviews and interpret the requirement of plans and specifications for the Facilities and Services, Maintenance Facilities Manager, and other interested parties.
You will Performs a wide range of work involved in the inspection, maintenance and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units and systems within a variety of structures.
You will plan and lay out work in accordance with drawings, sketches, verbal instructions and personal knowledge of construction techniques.
You will be responsible leading the day-to-day work of subordinates assigned to the team.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You must have the ability to lift and carry items that weigh 50-75 pounds.
- The position requires the ability to be able to perform considerable standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, stooping, bending and working on ladders/platforms.
- The position requires the ability to operate motor vehicles and heavy equipment.
- You will be required to exert heavy physical effort; lift and move heavy objects; work in cramped positions.
- The position may require work in adverse weather conditions (e.g., heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.)
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to resolve issues concerning the construction, reconstruction, and/or renovation of multiple minor and/or major construction projects; facilitate building maintenance and demonstrate working knowledge and skills of multiple trades/crafts.
Examples: Knowledge of buildings, structures, and facilities; knowledge of regulations, policies and procedures related to master planning, facilities assignment and utilization; knowledge of engineering and cost estimating, using data such as labor and supply costs, the age of condition of facilities, the extent of repairs or remodeling required to recommend replacement, repair and/or assignment of facilities in the most efficient and economical manner possible.

Education
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
