About the Position: This position is with TRICARE Health Plan (THP)-Health Plan Design Policy and Programs

Duties

Provides technical assistance to Military Services, DoD agencies, OSD/DHA entities, and Health Care Contractors. Responsible for revaluating contractor performance and assuring contracts are carried out effectively and meet the needs of the government. Develops protocols and mechanisms to monitor the delivery of health care services. Monitors the costs related to the delivery of health care under DoD Health Care Contracts. Coordinates contractor’s and Military Services' responses to inquiries regarding proposed contract modifications.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
