Duties

You will receive reservations requests by phone, in person and by mail. You will operate the switchboard to rooms and suites to include wake up service, call transferring, voice mail assistance, and maintenance help. You will receive and be accountable for the revolving change fund.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience performing progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. General experience includes duties such as: 1) Read and interpret orders issued by all branches of military services sufficient to assign rooms based on the Housing Policy Manual; 2) Operate office equipment; 3) Perform administrative duties; 4) Interact with military personnel; 5) Receive and resolve problems and complaints from guests. Education


In lieu of general experience, the following education may be substituted to meet the minimum qualifications requirement:

Two years above high school

OR

A combination of experience and education, which when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the requirement
