Duties
You will perform a wide variety of complex assignments related to maintaining stock item inventory and work with supply specialist to prepare inventory procedures.
You will complete individual transactions to include replenishment actions, posting receipts, and follow up actions when required, provide customer assistance, screening files, conducting data searches, and distributing output files.
You will maintain stock item records by updating data elements to include National Stock Number (NSN), Cog, on hand quantity, stock allowances, etc.
You will conduct extensive database searches to retrieve and use data in response to various questions or problems, and to resolve data discrepancies.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
GS-06- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
*Experience applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods applicable to assigned support duties;
*Experience requisitioning and issuing equipment and supplies and maintaining files of supply documents;
*Experience providing information on the status of stock for determining and keeping adequate numbers and types of items on hand; AND
*Experience utilizing a supply system in order to make valid material management decisions.
