You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Military Manpower and Personnel) [DASN (MMP)] within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Manpower and Reserve Affairs) [ASN (M&RA)] of ASSTSECNAV M-RA WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will adapt, change, or revise analytical methods to meet mission requirements.
You will develop techniques to evaluate organizational performance and effectiveness.
You will develop improved or refined methods or procedures to devise solutions for problem areas.
You will recommend work methods to increase efficiency or effectiveness manpower utilization.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience developing policy for active duty military personnel in at least 2 of the following: military recruiting, accessions, force management, retention, separations, retirements, or religious ministry.
Experience preparing reports, position papers, presentations, talking points, and/or memoranda AND
Experience developing policy positions and responses to actions originating from different requestors.
