As a Program Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing the existing business process and determining management information needs and developing, enhancing, and maintaining the associated applications, databases, and systems to include information technology which collect, analyze, and report information related to ORMDI's core mission and business process.
Duties
Reviews, analyzes, plans, and programs the design, development, and delivery of IT products requested by customers.
Provide national, in-service, and one-on-one training in conjunction with IT products for staff as needed.
Provide contract oversight to ensure contracted resources are fulfilling business requirements
Develops new IT requirements or corrects current IT requirements as necessary.
Reports to management potential problems with the integrity of IT support.
Defines project tasks and resource requirements, develops project plans, schedules and adheres to project time lines, and tracks project deliverables.

To qualify, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS12) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience is defined as work that involves (1) Providing guidance to managers, project leaders and other support personnel on programs and strategic initiatives for Technology Development and Management (TDM activities); (2) Analyzing existing businesses processes and determining, management information needs; (3) Planning, developing, enhancing and maintaining software applications, databases and systems to collect, analyze and report information; (4) Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for TDM contracts; and (5) Providing written and oral communications to brief executive leadership or customers on TDM projects
Education
There is no educational substitution for the GS13 level.
