This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO/DAS Mgmt Bgt/Strat Plan Perf Impr. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will receive assignments at the Green Belt level, which involves identifying and developing ways to resolve problems or respond to issues.

Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Serve as the subject matter technical resource in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) continuous process improvement techniques.
Study, evaluate, and provide policy and procedural recommendations concerning internal administrative operations, organizational structures, and management initiatives.
Manage program elements of OSPPI's Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) program and serve routinely as a Green Belt project team lead for organizational level process improvement projects.
Qualifications

Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Practitioner
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Experience with process improvement principles and techniques (particularly Lean Six Sigma), such as problem definition, process mapping, or change management.; AND
Training personnel in process improvement methodologies such as problem definition, process mapping, or other problem-solving methods as needed.; AND
Experience with project and program management, meeting and group facilitation, or client management.; AND
Experience planning actions for or participating in the implementation of new or revised management initiatives, programs, operations, and procedures.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Experience with process improvement principles and techniques (particularly Lean Six Sigma), such as problem definition, process mapping, or change management.; AND
Experience with project and program management, meeting and group facilitation, or client management.; AND
Experience planning actions for or participating in the implementation of new or revised management initiatives, programs, operations, and procedures.
OR
You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
You may qualify by a combination of experience and education.
To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent.
Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-9, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Knowledge of process improvement principles and techniques (particularly Lean Six Sigma), such as problem definition, process mapping, or change management.; AND
Assisting with project and program management, meeting and group facilitation, or client management.; AND
Participating in planning actions and implementation of new or revised management initiatives, programs, operations, and procedures.ORYou may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:master's or equivalent graduate degreeor2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degreeorLL.B. or J.D., if related
Education
