You will serve as a RECORDS & INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the ???????NAVSUP
Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ) .
Duties
You will provide guidance to ensure continuity of the overall NAVSUP Records Management (RM) program.
You will keep FLCJ staff members informed of program requirements, changes, significant developments and potential controversies.
You will administer NAVSUP FLCJ's RIM/Records Management (RM) program in accordance with NAVSUP headquarters and higher echelon guidance.
You will assess RIM/RM practices through periodic RIM/RM quality control reviews, compliance audits, risk assessments and surveys to measure the effectiveness of program, and to examine potential program improvement opportunities.
You will coordinate the proper storage of physical records to ensure storage facility meets all requirements specified by higher authority.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying an expert knowledge of records management laws, regulations, rules, policies,
and procedures to ensure that the program is compliant, effective and standardized across an entire organization. Examples of specialzied experience include: 1) Administer records Management (RM) program in accordance with headquarters and higher echelon guidance; 2) Modernize records management functions by managing the transition of paper records to electronic records; 3) Assess RIM/RM practices through periodic RIM/RM quality control reviews, compliance audits, risk assessments and surveys to measure the effectiveness of program, and to examine potential program improvement opportunities; and 4) Develop and implement NAVSUP FLCJ specific RIM/RM processes and policies.
