This vacancy is for a Program Analyst located in the Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Deputy Commandant for Operations, Integration, and Workforce Support (CG-DCO-5), Office of Planning, Planning and Integration Division (CG-DCO-51) located in Washington, DC.
Duties
The purpose of the position is to facilitate the development, execution, and maintenance of the policy, processes, and guidance necessary to enable and integrate Coast Guard's strategic mission management and force allocation in support of national and service strategic priorities.Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. - A one year probationary period maybe required.
- Suitable for Federal employment determined by background investigation.
Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
GS-14 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience. Your resume must demonstrate that you meet the specialized experience below:
Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in determining the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations; AND
Advise and assist leadership with strategic planning, annual performance planning, or annual performance reporting processes; AND
Assist with planning Global Force Management (GFM) related activities; AND
Preparing and delivering oral and written presentations.
NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
