Duties
Serves as an analyst on internal audit readiness / assessment functions within DLA Disposition Services.
Supports internal OMB Circular A123 / Enterprise Risk Management assessments
to include conducting risk assessments, internal control assessments/testing, process documentation development and all activities in support of the organization’s Statement of Assurance development.
Develops, designs and implements Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Department of Defense (DOD) or service sponsored audit readiness initiatives related to DLA Disposition Services Enterprise Risk Management program.
Coordinates with multiple internal / external agencies and organizations, on Internal Control/Risk Management programs.
Working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, policies, and operations to Identify and remediate gaps in business processes/internal controls; provide status updates and challenges to leadership.
Compiles, analyzes, and articulates audit results in support of executive level briefings to supervisors, SES/GO leaders inside and outside of the agency.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Evaluating programs and processes for operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Working end to end processes with emphasis on the timing of key programs, milestones, and overall program accomplishments.
Resolving problems associated with the risk and controls of processes.
Performing assessments, conducting analysis and drawing conclusions for process improvement.
Creating, coordinating, and maintaining briefings and communications with customers, Management, and Senior Leadership.
