Duties
You will be responsible for requirements planning, acquisition, contracting, and delivery of C4I capabilities on New Construction ships.
You will work in direct support of the Principal Integration Platform Manager (PIPM) for the design, acquisition, system engineering, and testing for the ship class.
You will be responsible for fostering communications between PEO Ships, PEO IWS, NAVSEA, and other stakeholders and resource sponsors.
You will be well versed in the DoD/DON acquisition processes and policies including Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) system, as well as the Navy Modernization Process to include SHIPMAIN.
You will have frequent interaction with senior civilian and military personnel and requires effective communications skills, both written and oral, due to the interaction with senior leadership personnel across multiple organizations.
You will be responsible to ensure ship requirements are addressed during the PORs Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents generation, and to review Field Changes and Ship Alteration packages for ship platforms.
You will effectively lead, integrate and coordinate disparate functional groups and develop a cohesive team capable of successfully handling complex problems encountered.
You will plan, evaluate and continually monitor program integration efforts to understand, analyze, execute and communicate acceptable solutions to overcome challenges and mitigate cost, schedule and performance risks.

You will ensure delivery of C4l systems to designated test facilities and shipyards within budget and on schedule to support the shipbuilding program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning requirements, acquisition, contracting, and delivery of C4I capabilities on New Construction ships. SCN program/project management expertise required for effective oversight of cost, schedule, and performance parameters impacting the planning and delivery of new construction ships.
