You will serve as a Program Manager in the AUKUS Acquisition and Integration Office.
Duties
You will be a Senior Manager, requiring complex program management, programmatic analysis, and portfolio management which informs executive leader program status understanding and facilitates critical decision making.
You will be required to support lower-level decision making in all three partner nations' programs execution organizations.
You will be required to pro-actively develop products, processes and approaches with only strategic guidance and minimal senior oversight.
You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the PfO Portfolio Controls Branch, to include program performance, metrics, risk and opportunity analysis, schedule and benefits management, and trilateral programmatic reporting.
You will apply management and business principles to analyze situations, identify problems, probe causes, and select courses of action for subordinate managers to pursue.
You will oversee identification of resource requirements and development of strategies for program planning, budgeting, and execution.
You will establish work assignments to be accomplished by the employees in the program, setting priorities, preparing schedules for work completion, and ensuring the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector formulating strategies or tactics for the acquisition or allocation of resources to achieve goals, milestones, and/or schedule requirements for complex programs.
