Duties
You will oversee the execution of schedule efforts for advance weapon system programs to support major DON (Department of the Navy) acquisition program development and fielding decisions.
You will recognize, extract, interpret, and summarize critical data for program and higher-level personnel to provide insight into performance issues.
You will provide schedule health assessments, assessing schedule progress, and accurately interpreting data sources.
You will perform various methods of a Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) and apply appropriate methods.
You will train both lower grade Integrated Government Scheduling (IGS) analysts and other program personnel in schedule creation, schedule analysis, risk assessments, and assessing accurate schedule progress.
You will establish and monitor a schedule baseline that reflects project critical path and report baseline variances to program leadership.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-13 Level:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following
1) Participating in Program Office team meetings, teleconferences, working group meetings, program management reviews(PMRs) and technical reviews, and coordinating efforts with the appropriate technical and/or programmatic experts to ensure a complete and quality product;
2) Serving as a focal point for program and government scheduling issues as they apply to contracts, programs, and prepare briefing materials for team personnel and higher level authority;
3) Organizing and briefing Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) outputs to program and higher level personnel in a logical and thoughtful manner in order for the program acquisition decisions to be made.
GS-12 Level:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Establishing and monitoring a schedule baseline that reflects project critical path and report baseline variances to program leadership;
2) Providing schedule health assessments, assessing schedule progress, and accurately interpreting data sources;
3) Utilizing knowledge of both schedule uncertainty and risk application and effectively executing a Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
GS-11 Level:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Developing integrated government schedules for various classified and unclassified Department of Defense and Department of the Navy acquisition programs;
2) Recognizing, extracting, interpreting, and summarizing critical data for program and higher level personnel to provide insight into performance issues;
3) Performing various methods of a Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) and applying appropriate methods.

Education
Education Substitution for Experience at the GS-11 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
OR
possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
have completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
possess an LL.M., if related
OR
a combination of graduate education and experience as described above that equates to one year of experience
