You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST in the Engineering & Installation Division, Code H4H00 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will be responsible for the technical and business coordination and day-to-day operations between all division management functions, division projects, operational warfighter customers, sponsors, and program offices. You will lead in the design, engineering, planning, and execution of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) modernization. You will supervise a group of subordinate supervisors and division staff employees. Performs administrative and human resource management functions. You will observe workers’ performance and conduct performance critiques.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: responsible for the technical and business coordination and day-to-day operations including Information Technology (IT) efforts between all division management functions, division projects, operational warfighter customers, sponsors, and program offices. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
