About the Position: This is for a Supply Technician who will perform technical budget and supply support duties necessary to ensure effective operations for Range Division, Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (DPTMS).

Duties

Coordinates supply procurement with outside agencies i.e., civilian vendors, Air Force, Marines and National Guard. Provides assistance to the Range Operations Property Book Officer and Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) and Electronic Disposal Turn-in Document (ETID) in establishing and maintaining personal property accounting records. Participates in the management and control of Range Division inventory by conducting periodic inventories to ensure accurate accountability for all nonexpendable property. Serves as primary receiving agent for nonexpendable property. Operates a pickup truck or truck (1 1/3 ton) and forklift in the performance of duties. Renders advice and assistance to military units on reports of survey, equipment needed for range use and range-unique equipment.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Incumbent will be required to pass a pre-employment physical.
  • This position incumbent to complete a National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI).
  • This position has a heavy lifting requirement of 45 pounds.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Tentatively selected applicants will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
  • This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by human resources within 30 calendar days after the Entrance on Duty (i.e., start date).
  • Selectee’s inability to successfully pass or refusal to conduct the drug test may result in the job offer being withdrawn during the recruitment process
  • or subsequently being removed from Federal service for failure to meet a condition of employment.
  • You may be required to sign a Statement of Understanding if you are selected for this position.
