About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. Duties
Develop production schedules for customers.
Review scopes of works to determine degree of repair.
Schedule work orders to ensure production goals are met.
Provide feedback to upper management on schedule compliance to adhere to depot's mission.
Report any discrepancies in program funding, production schedules, or quality to higher management.
Update production supervisors with new programs, status updates, and necessary changes that could impact their production schedules.
Coordinate with work center managers to reconcile data and correct any cost discrepancies to ensure all service charges have been cleared.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a Personnel Background Investigation (NACI).
- You may be expected to travel (TDY) in this position up to 10% of the time for business purposes.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and can be made permanent without further competition.
- Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years but cannot be made permanent.
- Time Limited Detail NTE may be made or extended at management discretion.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing production schedules for planning project timeline to completion, analyzing cost estimates to alleviate potential discrepancies in funding, and identifying production bottlenecks that could impact accomplishing production workload. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
