Duties
You will provide and support to Active Duty and Reserves military personnel in all aspects of pay, personnel, travel, and administrative related matters.
You will service as the central Point of Contact for the Command in the areas of military personnel matters.
You will initiate studies and analyses to plan resource allocation and requirements, define organizational deficiencies, and resolve administrative issues.
You will direct and oversee military personnel functions, such as job assignments, staff promotions, and career counseling, recruiting, identifying training needs and develop and manage educational programs.
You will develop training syllabus for current and incoming military administrative personnel to properly meet advancement guidelines for career progression.
Requirements

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
DA-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5/8 grade level or DA-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating domestic and international travel in accordance with regulations; 2) Resolving pay, personnel, and administrative issues; 3) Preparing materials and reports in support of military processes and procedures; and 4) Resolving a variety of military pay issues.
DA-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9/10 grade level or DA-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge with military administration and personnel policies (e.g. Military personnel/pay/travel/awards and other administrative policies and procedures); 2) Researching and resolving complex pay and personnel issues in accordance with guidance; 3) Analyzing plans for resource allocation and requirements to resolve administrative issues; and 4) Resolving a variety of military pay issues.
