Qualifications
Qualifications: Experience and/or Education Requirements: · Master’s degree or a minimum of 10 years of work experience in project management. · Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. · Demonstrated experience providing project management support for enterprise-wide technology projects and meeting customer expectations. Knowledge, Skill, and Ability (KSA) and Competency Requirements: · Ability to manage information technology projects. · Knowledge of networking, system operations, applications development, cybersecurity, customer support, and governance. · Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud environments and business analytics. · Knowledge of and skill in using Excel and project tracking software tools to develop models and metrics (e.g., forecasting, cost estimation, weighted decision) that facilitate strategic decision-making. · Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with executive leadership, management staff, information technology professionals, and non-technical users. · Employees within this position are expected to demonstrate the following HIR Technical Competencies: Analytics; Compliance, Internal Controls, and Audit Support; Consultation and Outreach; Emergency Response Planning and Risk Management; Financial Management; Information Management; Information Resources Strategy and Planning; Information Systems/Network Security; Knowledge of Emerging Trends and Industry Best Practices; Project Management; and Quality Assurance and Testing. · All employees within CAO are expected to demonstrate the following general competencies: Accountability, Adaptability, Collaboration, Communication, Customer Orientation, Knowledge of Relevant Policies, Procedures, and Processes, Priority Management, and Problem Resolution. · All employees in leadership positions within CAO are expected to demonstrate the following leadership competencies: Coalition Building, Decision-Making, Leading People, Results Orientation, and Strategic Planning. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: This position is located in an office setting that is adequately heated, lighted, and ventilated. Normal safety precautions apply. The work involves carrying of light items such as books, papers and small office equipment. The incumbent must be able to meet minimum physical requirements (lifting, bending, crouching, standing, etc.). Security Requirements: · Must successfully complete a criminal history records check. · Employee may be subject to drug testing in accordance with the CAO Drug Free Workplace Plan. · Must be able to secure and maintain Federal Government security clearances as deemed appropriate by senior management. *Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance) and a pre-employment drug-test (pre-identified position only).
