THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for an HR SPEC- Title 5, Position Description Number T5910700 and is part of the WI HQ WI ANG, Wisconsin Air National Guard.

Duties
- Performs routine personnel management functions in assigned areas.
- Responds to requests for information.
- Performs limited research and analysis of applicable laws, regulations, policy, etc. and prepares summaries and recommendations for action. As assigned, performs designated segments of more complex personnel assignments of higher-graded specialists.
- Advises management, employees, and/or the public on personnel related matters.
- Assisting in large scale events by creating and/or proofreading scripts, speeches, timelines, and invitations along with maintaining details for historical data, and confirming all parties, including senior leadership and congressional, state, and local officials, for ceremonies
-Coordinate all day and overnight travel for in-state and/or out-of-state and military and/or state status by using DTS and/or State budget procedures.
-Enter Air General Officer's orders and rescheduled drills in the AROWS software.
-Serve as the Command Suite Section Marshal to train and assist supervisors and employees to follow the JFHQ WI procedures.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experiences gained through civilian and/or military technical training schools within the human resources business programs are included as general experience qualifications. An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and federal civilian or military personnel programs. Experience providing leaders with daily support, managing and prioritizing leadership's calendar appointments, preparing rooms for meeting, precise decision-making skills. Candidate can coordinate with internal and external groups. Must have experience in executing personnel programs, drafting, and managing a variety of correspondences, documents, and memorandums as official notifications. Knowledgeable on allocating manpower resource budgets or execution procedures. Candidate has experience leading and directing special projects and/or collecting and analyzing data and/or policies, running reports and following up in areas to ensure items are being completed effectively, efficiently, and accurately.
Education
A high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma is required. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is desired. A graduate degree from an accredited civilian academic college or from an equivalent professional military education school is optimum.
