You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Unmanned Maritime Systems of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Duties
You will ensure appropriate integrated logistics support (ILS) products are incorporated into the configuration management and change management processes.
You will conduct training with Ships Force for program logistics related matters.
You will ensure appropriate closure of any contractual deficiencies and ensure appropriate outfitting of parts and ILS products.
You will ensure all items requiring technical warrant are addressed prior to establishing solutions to logistic problems.
You will review contracting language and provide recommendations to ensure logistics products to support plans with the correct level of specificity.
You will participate in the development of correspondence, management plans, instructions, and directives necessary to ensure effective communication among all activities participating in logistic support programs.
You will ensure product support strategy elements are incorporated into acquisition documentation, procurement specifications, contracts and engineering documents.
You will determine underlying causes of deficiencies to identify logistics problem areas, isolate sources of problems, and take corrective measures by reviewing interpretation and application of agency and customer processes.
You will prepare communications to include but not limited to talking papers, fact sheets, memoranda, economic analyses, briefings, and presentations.
You will submit inputs to annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM) issues and Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM) submissions.
You will review and manage Task Planning Sheets (TPSs) in NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).
You will evaluate the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with respect to acquisition schedules,
You will develop and manage acquisition schedules for logistics documentation and deliverables as required.
You will manage the review of Contracts Delivery Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for delivered technical documents such as drawings, maintenance plan, Technical Manuals, configuration items and provisioning technical data.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating logistics management support, integrated logistics support (ILS), or product support operations or functions to ensure the procurement, life cycle, sustainment, or availability of shipboard systems, subsystems, or components for surface ships or submarines.
