This position is located under the Project Section, Facility Management Service. The incumbent provides full staff support to the Chief, Project Section, who is responsible for the performance, supervision and administration of all design and construction projects under the Non-Recurring (NRM), Minor and Station Levels Categories.
Duties
The incumbent serves as the Program Support Assistant to the Project Section. In this role, the employee is responsible for a broad range of administrative and program duties within the office.

You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-5 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Processing incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda, etc.
Assisting in the Time and Attendance.
Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and/or scheduling conferences.
Providing general clerical public contact support services such as answering the telephone and referring visitors.

Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements: Includes some walking, standing, bending and carrying of light items such as paper and books. The work may require travel between remote facilities associated with the Medical Center.
