This position is located in the Chief Information Officer Organization (CIOO) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and provides support in the areas of leadership, vision, definition and oversight of FDIC information systems, information security, and privacy programs.

Duties
- Serves as a liaison for U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and the Office of Risk Management and Internal Controls (ORMIC) audits and reviews within the client's area of program responsibility.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience conducting, testing and validating IT, cybersecurity and privacy internal controls; assessing risk levels, identifying findings and recommending corrective actions to ensure compliance with government regulating agencies such as OMB, GAO and NIST.

Oral and Written Communication - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant serves on panels, committees, or task forces as a representative for the organization on technical or professional issues.
Problem Solving - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant monitors current trends or events (for example, technological, economic, political, social, educational, or employment trends or events) and applies the information as appropriate.
