This position is in the Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Secretary (OST), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Budget and Programs, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Resource Management Office (RMO). The incumbent serves as a Management Analyst consultant on administrative matters in the CFO Office. The incumbent plans, initiates, and coordinates a broad and significant range of administrative management functions for the organization.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include:
Experience planning, managing, executing, evaluating and facilitating a range of administrative programs and operations such as, management analysis, human resources management, budget and financial management and support services.
Experience developing and recommending detailed plans, goals and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration of mission-oriented program(s).
To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Providing services such as planning, budget, project management, human resources, property management and/or travel expertise, administration, and advice to management.
Determining goals, objectives, and best approach or solutions for resolving program shortfalls; and planning for long range program needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Planning and Evaluating - Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress andevaluates outcomes.
Budget Administration - Knowledge of the principles and practices of budget administration and analysis; including preparing, justifying, reporting on, and executing the budget; and the relationships among program, budget, accounting, and reporting systems.
Administration and Management - Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production.
