This position is located at Deputy Commissioner Financing & Operations, Wholesale Securities Services (WSS), Division of Business Systems, Branch as assigned. As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will provides leadership and direction on various projects related to the Office mission.
Duties
As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst, you will:
-Be responsible for planning, development, and implementation of project goals, for performing research and analysis, and for identifying and resolving project related problems.
-Supervise and review work of subordinates; reviews position descriptions; evaluates workforce needs and handles hiring actions as needed.
-Perform key systems support roles in all Debt Financing Operations activities: monitor automated system job activity, supervisor technical staff, and/or provide technical support
-Direct broad studies affecting the relationships between Fiscal Service, other agencies, the Federal Reserve System, and the bidder community.
-Represent the Office as a Debt Financing Subject Matter Expert responding to data calls, external meetings, presentations, system and infrastructure inquiries, and projects.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your résumé.
For the GS-13, You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position entails:
- Experience analyzing and developing solutions to enhance organizational, operational or process efficiencies in a manual or automated environment such as working with a financial system; AND
- Experience coordinating, leading, and prioritizing work for employees; AND
- Experience presenting findings to varied audiences, exchanging ideas and presenting recommendations.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
