About the Position: Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of personnel management, training, purchase processing and administration, property inventory, and travel and time and attendance for the Operations Division.
Duties
Process government travel orders, and vouchers.
Provide administrative support for Operations Division Support Section in preparation of all correspondence, and various other administrative reports.
Maintain time and attendance records by applying direct and indirect labor codes as appropriate.
Maintain and conduct annual inventory or accountable property.
Conduct supply purchasing with use of government charge card.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications at the GS-06 level
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which may include coordinating travel; preparing draft correspondence; entering time and attendance; tracking property for accountability purposes; using office automation software to create a variety of documents, spreadsheets and/or reports, and purchasing office supplies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Minimum Qualifications at the GS-07 level
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing a full range of clerical duties such as reviewing correspondence, updating mailing lists, running timekeeping edits, updating property inventory, purchasing supplies, preparation of travel documentation, and initiating requests for personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Minimum Qualifications at the GS-08 level
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing a full range of clerical duties such as finalizing and distributing correspondence, maintain mailing list(s), performing timekeeping duties, maintaining property inventory, purchasing supplies, preparation of travel vouchers and orders, and initiating requests and tracking personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Education
