This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is in the Non-Standard Missile Division, Security Assistance Management Directorate.

Duties

Manage of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics programs. Review, analyze and execute program activities. Plan and conduct program level meeting to include working groups and program management reviews. Maintain production status for deliveries to keep stakeholders apprised of interface problems.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Financial Disclosure OGE 450 upon appointment and annually.
• Obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
• Obtain and maintain acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Foundational, within 3 years of job entry.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: engaging with Partner Nations, Industry, and Department of Defense agencies on executing requirements of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Cases, including analysis, development, integration, and program management of unique country requirements, involving materiel/equipment, financial management, training, procurement, production, fielding, program logistics, software integration; developing short- and long-range execution plans to track, identify, assess problems, and brief program initiatives/solutions; and developing manpower and technical assistance requirements.
