You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST for the Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) Headquarters, Business
Operations Department at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington DC.

Duties
You will provide administrative and procedural guidance to OCHR staff to ensure timely and effective mission accomplishment.
You will analyze higher echelon procedures as they affect HR operations; develop and implement procedures to accomplish region-wide objectives, and make recommendations to refine or improve HR tools, procedures and technology.
You will provide technical assistance and advice to OCHR functional specialists to obtain maximum utilization of automation systems for HR functions.
You will develop standard operating procedures and user documentation to support user’s understanding of enhancements or improvements to HR. tools/systems.
You will assist with troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.
You will perform work that involves developing, delivering or supporting IT systems and services.
You will assess the capabilities and limitations of current NMCI hardware to optimize system reliability and maintainability.
You will manage customer requirements for NMCI network accounts, hardware, software.
You will provide technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing client-level hardware and software in accordance with established or approved organizational process components.

- This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position in the DOD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) role of Technical Support Specialist proficiency level Intermediate.
- This position is required to maintain qualifications in accordance with DON Cyber Workforce Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2.
- Must participate in a continuous learning (CL) program as described in SECNAVINS 5239.20A and SECNAV M-5239.2. An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous learning.
- The incumbent must obtain the required credentials within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for DCWF role of Technical Support Specialist proficiency level Intermediate.
- Failure to meet a condition of employment may result in disciplinary and/or adverse action up to removal from federal service.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Analyzing and interpreting system requirements and changes as they impact Human Resources processes and procedures and recommends appropriate action to functional/department head;
Assessing documents to generate polices and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance to bankcard, travel, and other administrative functional areas; and
Designing SharePoint and web page information portals.
