About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR), Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville. Both visitors & residents enjoy the shops & eateries of downtown Hopkinsville & Clarksville.

Duties

Applies prudent judgment and extensive knowledge of simplified purchase program while conducting purchases using the government purchase card (GPC). Reviews individual supply credit card transactions, reconciles credit and invoices to Statement of Account utilizing the automated financial tracking system, and forwards to Billing Official for approval. Updates Government and local approved systems and databases and retrieves data and uses data to respond to variety of customer, program review, and vendor inquiries. Coordinates with installation staff to ensure completion of required work. Maintains receipt of and inventories all excess property annually.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • The incumbent must obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
