As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will provide supervisory direction to a team of employees responsible for regional programs for performance measures; plan, schedule, and coordinate functions of the organization. Location of position: Office of design and Construction, Washington DC

Duties
Manages a team of analysts who are accountable for the data manipulation, analysis, data integrity and reporting. The team will be primarily focused on creating, monitoring, tracking, reporting, and analyzing key operational reports and metrics to drive business changes, results and behaviors.
Oversees the development of procedures for establishing balanced program plans, formulating forecasts of conditions affecting the operating environment, and issuing integrated and comprehensive program planning documents. Participates and coordinates with the office Deputy or Director in the identification and resolution of program deficiencies.
Supervises, evaluates, plans, and directs the analytical and evaluative work for critical PBS functions related to the development and presentation of budget plans and programs.
Directs special projects, advising top management on major office issues. Leads, conducts or participates in complex management studies and reviews--particularly those with wide or significant effect upon PBS' organizational structure, policy, processes, operations, fiscal control and economy and those where the boundaries of the studies may be broad.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $139,395 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as leading, or serving as a technical expert in directing, planning and coordinating short and long-range organizational program requirements. Such experience must include activities associated with developing cost estimates for regional training programs, monitoring budgetary systems, and review of human capital requirements and support for the entire region.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
