About the Position: Serves as the principal staff advisor to Sacramento District personnel on a variety of substantive procedural and policy matters on a broad range of civilian workforce management functions.

Duties
Advisor to the District Commander, Deputy Commander, and district staff principles on matters relating to civilian workforce management.
Coordinates aspects of the activities personnel actions with the servicing Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) and management.
Manage Hiring and Incentives program to ensure compliance.
Review organizational requirements to to develop short and long range staffing requirements and plans.
Brief the District Commander, management, and staff of changes affecting civilian workforce management functional areas.
Provide management advisory services for a complex organization to identify potential problems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain possession of or ability to acquire a valid state driver's license.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) advising higher level management on personnel and administrative functions such as awards, performance management, incentives, or personnel actions;
2) recommending policy guidance for the organization; AND
3) analyzing critical reports to identify potential problems.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
