This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Wholesale Securities Services (WSS), Division as assigned/Branch as assigned. As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst (Branch Manager), you will be responsible for day-to-day Debt Financing systems operations, support, maintenance, and enhancement.
Duties
As a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst (Branch Manager), you will:
Plan work to be accomplished by the branch and sets priorities as well as deadlines for its completion. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, consideration of the difficulty and requirements of the assignment, and the capabilities of the employees and/or section. Make final decisions of work problems elevated by branch employees.
Negotiate with other areas and determine and/or coordinate work-related changes affecting other areas. Evaluate the performance of immediate subordinates.
Manage high priority projects or programs that can cover a range of office activities. Convert broad conceptual approaches into specific action items and recommendations. May coordinate projects across organizational lines.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position must include all of the following:
- Supporting and maintaining Processing Systems or other securities holding systems (For example Treasury Automated Auction Processing System (TAAPS); AND
- Experience analyzing and developing solutions to enhance organizational, process, and operational efficiencies in an automated environment; AND
- Gathering requirements and conducting system testing; AND
- Coordinating, leading, and prioritizing work for subordinate employees.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
