You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SUSTAIN GROUP (V4) of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Duties
You will guide leadership in developing and implementing the Sustainment Group (V4) strategic goals, objectives, business processes, technical authority standards and product integrity guidelines
You will establish long-term vision and mission for Cost reduction.
You will interface on a daily basis with action officers within Program Offices, PEOs, ASN, WSS, COMFRC, OPNAV, HQMC, CNAF/CNAL, and NAVAIR.
You will establish and foster communities of learning across the NAWC, FRC, PEOs and external customers and stakeholders.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience: Identifying, developing and executing Cost Savings/Cost Reduction initiatives across the Naval Aviation Enterprise; Establishing the strategic direction of the NAE to identify, execute, and track Cost Savings for the Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC), Naval Air Warfare Centers (NAWCs) and Naval Air Forces; Providing oversight, guidance, advice and recommendations for improving sustainment business processes with a focus on unifying maintenance, repair and overhaul activities within the sustainment of naval aviation aircraft and weapons systems domain.
