Duties
You will be applying 40,000 to 60,000 gallons per day of Class A (exceptional quality) wastewater residuals to approximately 3,000 acres of grasses and forested application areas.
You will perform normal operator maintenance checking for damaged or worn tires, fuel, water, oil level, battery conditions, and loose parts.
You will keep trip records of mileage, fuel, oil consumption, trip departure, and return.
You will collect samples of biosolid to be land applied for analysis by Camp Lejeune Environmental Management Division and commerical laboratory using accepted collection and preservation techniques.
You will assist in application site preparation by developing detailed maps of application area using global positioning System (G.P.S) Instrumentation
You will communicate by using radio and/or telephone to coordinate with other entities to avoid conflict and danger.
You will operate vehicles in all types of traffic, on public roads, and at highway speeds for extended periods.
You will analyze road conditions and weather on routes to determine loading and arrangement of cargo.
You will analyze scheduling data to determine necessary corrective actions that will improve motor vehicle scheduling and performance.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and possess a current NC driver's license for vehicles operated to include a CDL and valid Government Operators permit.
Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
