Duties

Develops and delivers software and/or other digital services (cyber, cloud, platform, data, and/or artificial intelligence) through the following execution phases: design, development, installation, test, implementation, modification, documentation and follow-on maintenance. Manages mission knowledge, information, and situational awareness processes and systems using an agile approach. Serves as Project Lead for cyberspace capability development, assessment, and fielding. Represents assigned teams and digital products with a variety of Department, Headquarters, installation and functional area organizations.

• This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission.
• This is a Centrally Managed Position. Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force Wide Mobility Agreement.
• This position is Acquisition Category IT, Level II and incumbent must meet appropriate certification requirements IAW the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) no later than 24 months after accepting this position.

Qualifications

This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. NOTE: You must meet both the Basic Qualifications and Specialized Experience requirements stated below: BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Education: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. IF YOU ARE QUALIFYING BASED ON EDUCATION YOU MUST SUBMIT COPIES OF YOUR TRANSCRIPTS OR Experience: Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. Knowledge of DoD and Air Force policies and procedures, guidelines, directives and techniques related to software and technology system platforms. 4. Ability to clearly and effectively discuss and present program objectives, managerial tasks, and technical information verbally and in writing to management and professional personnel at all levels within the DoD and other government agencies within timelines prescribed by regulation or management. 5. Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements. Ability to identify requirements for contracting and budget proposals for IT acquisitions. 6. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
