This position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Assistant Commandant for Prevention Policy, Director of Inspections and Compliance (CG-5PC), Washington, DC.
Duties
As a senior Management and Program Analyst within the office of Director of Inspections and Compliance (CG-5PC), responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating complex and critical administrative operations and programs of the Coast Guard's National Vessel Documentation Center (NVDC) to ensure overall effectiveness and efficiency of programs, operations, organizations and agency functions.

- Time-in-grade requirements must be met by closing date.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-14: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lowest grade level (GS-13 level) in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience includes experience that involved extensive operational experience in Management and Program Analyst positions.
Applicant MUST MEET the 4 conditions below. Applicants resume must demonstrate that they meet the specialized experience.
Experience developing internal policies and operating procedures; AND
Experience developing and delivering detailed internal briefings, executive level briefings, and briefings to other agencies and military services; AND
Experience managing strategic planning and business process initiatives; AND
Experience leading cross-functional teams to assess organizational effectiveness in a variety of areas such as human resources planning, process management, and customer satisfaction.
