You will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant in the Navy Recruiting Command of NRD CHICAGO.
Duties
You will monitor electronic mailbox to respond to inquiries for information and direct to appropriate personnel within the office.
You will maintain tickler system within a database or manually to ensure that replies are received within time allotted.
You will update and maintain manuals and instructions.
You will advise customers on routine information regarding travel procedures and entitlements.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using Microsoft Word to produce correspondence and reports; 2) Replenishing supplies based on office needs; 3) Maintaining office files in subject and chronological order; and 4) Making arrangements for travel.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of 4 years of education above high school.

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
