You will serve as a PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TECHNICIAN in the MARINE CORPS COMMUNITY SERVICES of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
Duties
You will administer relocation services to include sponsorship coordinator, settling in services and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) classes.
You will provide oversight of the installation sponsorship program and the maintenance of the Defense Information System.
You will be responsible for managing the clerical and administrative functions within the MandFP Branch as needed.
You will edit, reformat, transmit and receives drafts of documents and correspondence using standard Microsoft Office software.
You will ensure adequate facility and program supplies and ensures proper equipment is available to meet center needs.
You will serves as the PandPD Representative to the PandPD Program managers.
You will administer and coordinate the Retired Activities program to provide services unique to retirees and the families.
You will respond to routine and non-technical requests for information such as the status of reports, duty status of personnel, suspense dates for matters requiring compliance and similar information readily available.
Requirements

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license. The position requires you to have the capability to obtain a Government Vehicle Operator's License for the classification of the vehicle to be driven.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting the logistical program efforts through information service referrals, relocation services; and manage clerical, administrative, and office automation functions.
