This position is located in the Federal Highway Administration, Office of Information Technology and Data Services. The Division Chief for IT Compliance will be responsible for planning, developing, leading, and directing information technology (IT) cybersecurity and compliance programs for Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The incumbent represents FHWA on interactions with the Department, regulatory agencies, and State agencies on IT matters.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements. You will be asked a few questions as part of your application but make sure to verify how you meet this experience in your resume or you may be deemed ineligible.
To qualify for the GS-15, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience providing leadership and direction to subordinate managers, supervisors and/or professional staff in the development, acquisition, management and/or oversight of Information Technology cybersecurity and compliance programs.
Experience developing and approving cybersecurity requirements and policies for Information Technology solutions in an organization.
You cannot qualify on education at grades GS-12 and above for this series, you must meet the specialized experience for the grade, which is cited above.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): For job series GS-2210 experience must be IT-related and demonstrate each of the following four competencies:

In addition, for this position your qualifications will also be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following two areas:
Technical Skills - Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for designing, developing, and testing software in a given environment.
Program/Project Management Skills - Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.
