You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (DATA ANALYTICS) of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will serve as the lead data analytics subject matter expert and a senior advisor to the Director of the CSG.
You will conducts, execute and/or oversee a myriad of internal business process studies crossing organizational and functional lines, to analyze and evaluate new or existing management techniques.
You will develop analytics and visualize data in support of special projects.
You will ensure that the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the CSG and integrated into the CSG’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience demonstrates performing duties such as the following:
Possessing extensive experience in data analytics and the application of advanced methodologies within a Department of Defense (DOD) or similar government agency environment;
Applying innovative techniques to leverage technology for data analysis, including proficiency with analytics tools as well as recommending/implementing improvements based on data-driven insights;
Integrating and analyzing complex data from various sources to create reports, dashboards, and models;
Using strong verbal and written communication skills to prepare and presenting formal technical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership;
Demonstrating leadership abilities in a team setting, including workload management, training, and consensus-building among team members.
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience demonstrates performing duties such as the following:
Supporting data analysis projects under supervision;
Assisting in business process reviews and making recommendations for improvements;
Developing proficiency with relevant analytics tools and DOD processes; and
Contributing to the preparation of reports and presentations for a variety of stakeholders.
