You will serve as an Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) for the F-16 or F-5 Programs in PMA-226 of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will provide logistics technical guidance and supervisory oversight to assigned logisticians ensuring technically sound decisions and direction as well as timely responses to operators of assigned aircraft and systems.
You will assure that industrial planning and logistics support of aircraft, engine and component depot level maintenance are accomplished efficiently and cost effectively.
You will develop / manage project schedules, budget exhibits and logistics elements required for acquisition and sustainment planning, economic operation, integration of support system considerations and supportability analysis of systems/equipment.
You will lead development and/or evaluation of logistics documents/products such as engineering change proposals, technical directives, inspection/maintenance intervals and requirements, and instructions.
You will identify, defend and manage level-of-effort / funding requirements and appropriate contract use as well as actual administration of a support contract.
You will direct the efforts of logistics specialists in accomplishing Logistics Support Analyses, as required, and in producing planning documentation (such as Provisioning Technical Documentation and Technical Manuals).
You will also direct efforts to produce planning documentation (such as Life Cycle Sustainment, ILS, Maintenance Plans, Test and Evaluation Master, Navy Training Plans, Quality Evaluation Master, Supply Support Master Plans, and Site Activation).

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band GS-13 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing logistics guidance and oversight to assigned logisticians ensuring technically sound decisions and direction as well as timely responses to operators of assigned aircraft and systems. 2) Assuring that industrial planning and logistics support of aircraft, engine and component depot level maintenance are accomplished efficiently; 3) Leading development and/or evaluation of logistics documents and products such as engineering change proposals, technical directives, inspection/maintenance intervals and requirements, and instructions; 4) Identifying level-of-effort/ funding requirements and appropriate contract use as well as actual administration of a support contract.
