Serves as a Program Support Assistant that functions as a coordinator, liaison and provide direct support for the Social Work Services and the Homeless Program's Grant & Per Diem Program (GPD).
Duties
Collect, compile and track of data and statistical information in support of the GPD Program.
Collaborate and assist in developing, coordinating and implementing a variety of reports, correspondences and control files.
Assist in administering and coordinating the Social Work GPD Program Service clinics to include assisting in the preparation of the clinic profiles in accordance with trends, manpower, and space.
Review, analyze, coordinate, and submit all required monthly, quarterly, Bi-Annual, and annual reports, including frequent Action Items.
Ensure accurate data collection in order to develop and prepare reports.
Provide specific support to the Grant Per Diem Social Workers with regards to preparing inspection reports, scheduling inspections and ensuring timely processing of all documents relating to the Grant Per Diem Program.
Assist with Financial management and billing for the Grant Per Diem Program.
Assist the Homeless Program Section Chief in scheduling interviews of job applicants and organizing documents relating to interviews.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 02/08/2024.
For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: assisting in planning, development, coordination, and implementation of healthcare administrative operations; utilizing various software systems to compile/collect data; performing data analysis, generating reports, and preparing various correspondence; provide training to staff as well as distribute and monitor workload; and preparing reviews, correspondence, and coordinating various meetings.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.
Physical Requirements: The work is both sedentary and, at times, physically challenging. Some physical effort, such as standing, walking, bending, or sitting, or occasionally carrying items (such as mail, records, etc.) of more than 50 pounds, may be required. Work is generally performed in an office setting with adequate light, heat, and ventilation. However, it also includes off-premises tasks related to fund control points.
