As a Program Analyst, you will be responsible to monitor and evaluate assigned regional programs and initiatives. Location of position: Office of Design and Construction, Washington DC. At this time we are only filling one vacancy, however additional vacancies may be filled from this announcement as needed.
Duties
Responsible for providing expert analysis on a variety of subject matter, and for initiating and/or leading projects involving the evaluation of regional programs/operations.
Serve as technical advisor for assigned program activities, obtaining appropriate resources to facilitate accomplishment of objectives. Plan and/or direct complex projects requiring evaluation and identification of a variety of operational problems, evaluating alternative solutions and recommending appropriate action.
Design and undertake comprehensive management studies, initiatives, or data-gathering efforts, where the boundaries of the studies are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance.
Prepare and/or conduct briefings for higher level management to explain the specific analysis of subject matter, as well as to provide recommendations or action plans and provide guidance and/or direction for implementation.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as providing technical advice on workforce management support (e.g. hiring, programs and other related administrative services); analyzing and linking data from multiple datasets and databases, producing reports and presenting the information in a variety of formats (i.e. reports, presentations, spreadsheets, graphs, etc.) to senior leadership, as well as extensive coordinating and/or facilitating initiatives in support of advanced professional development, leadership and organizational development needs (reviewing training course materials, aids, devices and evaluation of training results).
