This position is located in Office of Policy & Strategy, Chief of Staff.
As an Supervisory Resource Manager, you will serve as an advisor and technical expert responsible for delivering solutions across a broad range of administrative areas, including financial, logistical, human resource, and emergency management.
Duties
Serve as Branch Chief and first-line supervisor directing medium-sized office's human resource, financial, emergency, and property management functions to promote compliance, efficiency, and customer service.
Implement organizational goals, policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with established management directives and regulations.
Develop succession planning by identifying skill gaps and coordinating development activities for the office's various positions.
Recommend long-range program goals and direct activities related to resourcing the Office’s strategic plan.

Direct the creation of human resource, financial, emergency, and property management communication.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/07/2024.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/07/2024.
GS-15: You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Directing and leading human resource, financial, logistics, and emergency management programs to achieve the goals outlined in the strategic plan;
Establishing management procedures and progress reporting requirements that monitor organizational goals;
Developing and implementing administrative policies, procedures, and initiatives to accomplish program objectives;
Serving as an advisor to senior officials on a wide range of complex administrative policy or program matters involving significant or controversial issues;
Providing leadership and administrative supervision to include planning and prioritizing work to be accomplished; and
Participating in the development of long and short-range organizational planning efforts.
