This position is located in the Department of Energy in the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), in the Office of Strategic Leadership and Workforce Development (SLWD) within the Office of Learning and Career Management (LCM). The incumbent serves as a Program Analyst responsible for managing programs that strengthen organizational culture, organizational effectiveness, and a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-02 or GS-12. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Developing, or executing, and evaluating organizational development interventions and strategies and (2) strategies to strengthen organizational culture and organizational effectiveness.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
Conducting organizational development interventions to include interviews, focus groups, surveys
Conducting and authoring detailed analyses focused on organizational effectiveness
Implementing strategies and plans to improve organizational performance, efficiency, and productivity
Implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion and accessibility initiatives
Analyzing and evaluating Agency initiatives and challenges to improve organizational effectiveness
Conducting employee surveys to measure employee satisfaction and morale levels and identifying areas for improvement
Reviewing agency policies, procedures, and practices related to employee engagement to identify opportunities for improvement
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
