You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Unmanned Maritime Systems Program Office (PMS 406) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Duties
You will assist in leading the Unmanned Surface Vessel program development and requirements to work towards a Detail Design and Construction (DDC) contract.
You will lead various teams related to USV development of technologies to assist in the maturation of the programs..
You will lead and work with various Assistant Program Managers (APMs) to consolidate input and provide recommended paths forward taking into account program cost, schedule and performance.
You will manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors to achieve programmatic requirements.
You will be responsible for program management with Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs of record and lead personnel to achieve programmatic goals and milestones.
You will be responsible for the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process, including budget approvals, justifications, Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and managing budget execution.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-03 (GS-13) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "Leading the development or implementation of acquisition strategies (e.g., financial, programmatic, technical, contractual) for ship systems, subsystems or components."
