You will serve as a PROJECT MANAGER in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST MRO PRODUCTION DEPT PROD LINES DIV of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Duties
You will maintain an effective management status profile. Ensure completion of functions scheduled within established timeframes and in accordance with established guidelines.
You will ensure that all decisions are based on best business and trade practices, taking into consideration the use of manpower, equipment, material and other resources that may affect the efficiency and economic well-being of FRCSE.
You will execute plant maintenance scheduling and control responsibilities in support of major modification or maintenance workload programs.
You will identify problem areas and independently take appropriate corrective action to resolve delays.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience;
Negotiate directly with FRCSE Departments/Divisions on program requirements, changes, deviations, discrepancies and contract task modifications;
Develop or direct the development of work breakdown structure, work sequence by use of a critical path modeling, bills of material and shop orders;
Anticipate production problems and delays due to process or resource factors and have full responsibility for identifying and recommending corrective action to maintain program milestones within specified cost and schedule;
Ensure critical program elements are tracked and analyzed including evaluation of production records, direct labor effectiveness, cost effectiveness, quality indices and material usage in order to ensure task completion with maximum efficiency;
Reassure related contract deliverables are produced and provided to the customer on time;
Analyze Earned Value Management (EVM) or Cost/Schedule Status Reporting (C/SSR) data for the assigned aircraft program and interpret reports and explain cost and schedule variances;
Determine the Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled (BCWS), development of Contractor Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) and the development of C/SSR and Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliverables.
