About the Position: This position is located on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii which is nestled at the foot of the Waianae mountain range on the island of Oahu. Duties

Serves as the installation liaison with on and off post agencies in support of leveraging partnerships. Implements and manages installation ACS services, establishing goals, objectives and procedures IAW applicable State, DoD, DA and other federal guidance, regulations and laws. Collaborates with key organizational staff and organized groups within/outside the installation. Serves as principal advisor on career, transition, relocation, personal financial management, employment, community life, emergency/crisis assistance, personal and Family readiness, and all other related ACS services. Conducts and implements marketing and public relations campaigns to ensure target populations are informed of services and activities.

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet one of the following: Successfully completed a full four year course of study leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study in behavioral or social science or related discipline. Where specific course requirements are not indicated on the transcripts, the number of semester hours required to constitute a major field of study is the amount specified by the college or university attended. If this number cannot be obtained, 24 semester hours will be considered as equivalent to a major field of study. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts; OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates that I have acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field; OR Combination of education and experience that provides me with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. (The quality of the combination of education and experience is sufficient to demonstrate that I possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform work in the occupation, and is comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of a full 4-year course of study with a major in the appropriate field. Note: You must submit a copy of your transcripts). When combining education with experience, first determine your total qualifying education as a percentage of the education required. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours or equivalent) is equivalent to 6 months of experience. Then determine the experience as a percentage of the experience required. Finally, add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to be qualifying. For example, if an applicant that has 9 months of experience and 15 semester hours of college, it will equate to 75 percent of the required experience and 25 percent of the required education for a total of 100 percent of the requirement for 1 year of experience (You must attach your transcripts). In addition to meeting one of the above basic requirements, you must also meet one of the following: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service which includes 1) assisting clients with community or qualify of life services/activities such as family readiness, career transition, or life skills; 2) preparing briefings and/or informational materials; and 3) assisting in arranging and/or coordinating community assistance/resources for clients. OR Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Behavioral Science, Education. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least one year of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required two years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
